Cinefest Durham

Cinefest Durham is sponsored by Friends of the Oshawa Public Libraries and The Film Circuit, a division of the Toronto Film Festival Group. Durham residents can see interesting films by Canadian and foreign filmmakers normally not shown locally.

On May 10, F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic The Great Gatsby returns to the big screen in a new adaptation by director Baz Lurhmann. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Carey Mulligan, the film is sure to be one of the summer's first blockbusters! If you haven't read the book since school, check out a copy--we have it available in print, as a graphic novel, and online!
