Branch Highlights
The Legends Centre Branch opened April 2006 as part of the Legends Centre recreational facility. The branch has the most extended hours in the library system. The Children’s area includes the Laura Ellis Children’s Island, funded in part by the Friends of the Library. The Branch includes a bright reading room with a fireplace.
The Legends Centre Branch offers programmes for all ages, including a large number of storytimes. The Branch partners with the Legends branch of the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre located next door for joint programmes and events. For details on current programmes, click here.
